Rev. Dr. Uchenna D. Anyanwu studied building and structural engineering at Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria and worked as a construction engineer before answering God's call to cross-cultural ministry with Calvary Ministries (CAPRO). Along with his wife Dolapo, he spent 15 years working in various contexts across West and North Africa before pursuing further studies in the US. He earned a Master of Divinity, a Master of Arts in World Missions and Evangelism, and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Gordon-Conwell and Fuller Theological Seminary. His research focused on peacebuilding theology in violent contexts, and his dissertation was published in 2022. Uchenna now partners with Frontier Fellowship to facilitate Christian-Muslim relations in the US and mobilize churches to share the Gospel in Africa's Sahel region. He is an ordained Anglican minister, and he and Dolapo have two sons.
